Fish Fossils

David Chapman will be here from the Cleveland Museum of Natural History to discuss ancient fossils. Northeast Ohio sits over an ancient seabed. This rock contains the remains of many 363 million-year-old fish. Since the 1920s, the museum has been collecting, preparing, studying, and exhibiting these fossils. For adults of all ages. Children should be accompanied by an adult.

Conversational Russian 1 for Adults

Are you curious about the Russian Language and culture? Come in for this 8-week class on Conversational Russian. Class Meets once a week from August 4 until September 22; every Monday starting at 6:30pm. 

There is a $10.00 nonrefundable class fee, due 1 week prior to the start of class.  Register here. 

SqueeGirls and FanBoys

Come and get your squee on with this group, which will be reading and discussing fanfiction.  Join in and suggest your favorite fics to be read by the group.  All fandoms welcome!  Click here to sign up for the group's online newsletter (choose SqueeGirls and FanBoys from the list).  Meets the third Thursday of every month at 7pm.

Summer Movies at the Library

Adults are invited to enjoy the following movies inside the library this summer.  Popcorn and lemonade will be served ten minutes prior to showing.

The 4th Annual Music in the Garden Series

Enjoy a free jazz concert! The Lempner & Sarata Duo will perform in the Library's Reading Garden. In the event of rain, it will be held inside.
